    • This is from our King County Public Health Department:  a very simple and helpful article to read about masking currently
    • Double masking is now recommended when you are indoors, a second mask can help keep the masks snugly over our nose and mouth. Currently many people have a gap around the nose and gaps on the sides of the face when wearing a mask.

    • The SWS Teen Health Center will host our first Mobile Health Resource Fair, rain or shine, on Friday, February 26th from 12pm to 4pm at Neighborhood House Rainier Vista, 4410 29th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108.

       

    • There will be fresh food to take home, clinic registration assistance, scheduling appointments, vaccinations, technology help, answering questions about Covid vaccines, mental health support, and more.

    Attention Seniors: You received a Teams invite to a Financial Aid Workshop on February 23, from 1:00-3:00. During that event we will work with you to complete your FAFSA or WASFA. Several financial aid experts will be there to help. In order to be ready for that event please bring the following documents to the meeting.

    1. Your parents 2019 1040 tax form if you live with your parents. See example here. sample 1040 form
    2. Your 2019 1040 tax form if you don’t live with your parents.
    3. Your social security number or Alien ID # (from your Green Card). If you don’t have either you can still apply for financial aid

     

    Call or email me if you have questions or need to set up another time work on your financial aid application
