    FROM OUR FAMILY OUTREACH CENTER

    Pandemic EBT

    • A second payment of Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) is coming.Additional pandemic food assistance on its way for Washington kids. For this round, no applications are required.  Children’s eligibility for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals through their school will be used to provide benefits to children via a new P-EBT card that will be mailed directly to families.
    • There is now is a specialized P-EBT contact center established to answer questions. Please check the announcement for the full details.
    • IMPORTANT: It is critical that schools have families’ current addresses! Please make sure your address is correct with the school. If your family does not have an address, you can ask the school to use the school’s address. Schools need this information by Monday, March 8 so we can upload these lists for students to receive P-EBT benefits.

    FROM MS JOHNSON, OUR LIBRARIAN

    • Good news for all graduating seniors and students who lost books last year before March 2020.  Our library has received a grant from First Interstate Bank that contains enough money to pay for your lost book fines.  This will also help the library buy new books!
    • Now that the weather is nicer, Ms. Johnson is thinking of adding more times outside to get books in your neighborhood.  Message her on Teams to let her know if she should come to your neighborhood and what books to bring!
