    Learn about different careers and earn a .5 credit by participating in a summer skills center class from July 6 to July 30. Summer classes are open to incoming 9th graders to 12th graders. Learn more here.


    ICHS Healthcare Careers Camp

    The ICHS staff will be hosting a day camp from August 3-6 for students to learn more about various careers in the healthcare field. Learn about healthcare career and opportunities open to you! Get hands-on experience! Fieldtrips to healthcare facilities! Learn job readiness skills!     The Danny Woo Garden Shed

     

    2 weeks / June 21st -July 4th

    10-4 PM Monday - Thursday

    $300 Stipend or Community Service Hours

    A collaborative design-build project between Sawhorse Revolution, AIA Seattle’s Diversity Roundtable (DRT), Danny Woo Community Garden, and InterIm CDA’s WILD youth program. In the Fall of 2020, these four organizations joined arms to design the future Danny Woo Garden Shed! Now, summer of 2021, our team of youth and mentors will hammer the shed into creation as part of a Sawhorse Revolution Covid-safe micro-youth build! Come join the fun!

This position is responsible for implementing the summer camp program by actively engaging with camp participants each day. They may lead and organize programs and activities such as arts, crafts, organized games, cultural activities, drama, music, story hour, sports activities, field trips and other special events. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of and experience working with school age youth. Must be at least 18 years of age.
