    Wifi is a lifeline

Nearly half of our students lack access to reliable wifi, making it challenging to connect to needed resources and engage in continuous learning at home during the COVID-19 crisis.

    You can help

Donate a hotspot and a prepaid SIM card compatible to the hotspot to a student in need.

    How it works

Currently, Seattle World School Library is accepting Pre-Paid Verizon Jetpack Hotspots (approximately $150) shipped to the School along with their compatible SIM cards (approximately $10/each).  You can buy directly, preferably from the vendor since some Amazon listings are illegitimate.  In the shipping field, write:

    COVID-19 Hotspot Donation c/o Librarian

    1700 E Union St
    Seattle, WA 98122

    What happens next

When we receive a hotspot, we catalog it in our library equipment rentals, making it a part of our permanent circulation collection for any student in need.  Students "check out" a hotspot that they return when they graduate, change schools, or when no longer needed, and receive one or more donated SIM cards to use.
