In the high school program, students with greater needs have two period LA and math blocks. Students who are more proficient take single period classes in their core subjects of LA, math, science, history along with their electives. There are daily grade level advisory periods in which students receive academic support with their studies and projects and plan for high school graduation and beyond. In the newcomer program, students have six classes a day: a two period ELD (English Language Development) block, a two period math block, social studies and electives (art, computers, physical education, multimedia or drama).
